Introduction

Following the success of previous conferences in Hong Kong 2001, Adelaide 2004, Miami 2006 and Zurich 2008, the 5th International conference on Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composites in Civil Engineering is to be held in Beijing, China in September 2010. The aim of this conference is to provide an international forum for all concerned with the application of FRP composites in civil engineering to exchange and share recent advances in both research and practice. CICE 2010 is an official conference of the International Institute for FRP in Construction (IIFC) and is being organized by Central Research Institute of Building and Construction, MCC Group and Tsinghua University.
